Riot Games decided to surprise League of Legends fans by offering LTA Fantasy – a new LoL-focused game. Unlike everything we have seen, this is a “manager-style” game with the main focus on the League of the Americas. It became available during Split 2 of the event on April 2, so let’s learn more about it.

LTA Fantasy Overview
As its name suggests, this is a fantasy game that allows players to create a virtual team of LTA players. The goal of the game is to come up with a team that will earn you points. The points you get will depend on each player’s real-life performance.
To make the game more interesting, a leaderboard will allow players to compete against each other. Users who perform better than the rest and secure a high place on that leaderboard can expect to win League of Legends skins.
Despite the fact that the LTA Fantasy is still in beta, you can take part in it. Keep reading to find out.
How to Play LTA Fantasy?
If you want to play LTA Fantast, you have to register for the game. To do that, follow these steps:
- Go to the LTA Fantasy website.
- You will need to use your Riot ID to create a team.
- The team needs to have a logo, name, and tricode.
Once the team is set up, players have to build a roster consisting of players from LTA South and LTA North. Keep in mind that each player will get 5 gold medals to build the roster, so you have to be careful about which players you choose.
Each player’s budget will increase or decrease depending on the performance of the League of Legends stars you’ve chosen. Keep in mind that you will only have one roster during the beta (Riot may increase that number after the game is out of beta).
LTA Fantasy Leaderboard, Rewards and Roster Lock
As mentioned, players who decide to sign up for the LTA Fantasy game will have to compete in a leaderboard. Players can even create their own leagues and play with their friends. As of now, Riot does not have any limits on the number of leagues that people can be a part of.
In terms of the LTA Fantasy rewards, those who finish among the top 100 will receive League of Legends skins (two of them). Keep in mind that players should be among the top 100 once Split 2 is over. Those who performed the best in the north conference will get the Spirit Blossom Yasuo skin, whereas those from the South will receive the Spirit Blossom Yone.
An important thing to remember is that the LTA Fantasy roster lock happens every Saturday at 9 AM PT, which is just before the matches begin. Once the games are over, you can check your results every Monday after 12 AM PT.
As for the roster unlocks, they will take place every Tuesday at 8 AM PT. Once that happens, you can make changes by adding/removing players from the LTA South and North.
