It seems like OG is unhappy with its current EU roster and the results it has. Consequently, the organization decided to reveal a new European Dota 2 roster just several weeks after it announced OG.LATAM. This news also comes just a few hours after we’ve learnt that Ceb is moving to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
OG’s new European Roster
Following a series of disappointing results, OG decided to reveal a new European Dota 2 roster. The new squad consists of several well-known players, as well as a couple of new names that we haven’t seen so far:
- Indji “Shad” Lub
- Daniel “Stormstormer” Schoetzau
- Mihajlo “MikSa`”Jovanovic
- Tamir “daze” Tokpanov
- Ivan “Kidaro” Bandarev
- Johan “N0tail” Sundstein
The new OG roster will try to repeat the performance of the squad that emerged several years ago. If you remember, OG decided to get a completely new roster with the likes of Ammar “ATF” Assaf and Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov. The team achieved excellent results in the first couple of months and even for a year, but things changed after that.
Following the bad results, OG tried making some key roster changes by adding various players. The list included names like Sebastien “Ceb” Debs, Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon, Leon “Nine” Kirillin, and many more.
Even these Dota 2 superstars could not help the team bounce back, so OG kept looking for solutions. Eventually, the squad made several other roster changes by including players like Stefan “Ulnit” Gavrila and others, but the results were the same.
In the end, it seems like OG decided it is time for a massive change, so it got a completely new roster coached by N0tail. The team will do everything possible to win the upcoming The International qualifiers. Needless to say, we also expect the team to try its luck at the Esports World Cup 2025.
