Ori retires from Dota 2

The Chinese Dota 2 player Zeng "Ori" Jiaoyang, who played for Team Aster, has retired from esports.

"Aster.Ori (Zeng Jiaoyang) officially retired. After the end of this TI11, the club decided to respect the wishes of the players and thank Ori for its contribution to the Aster esports club", Aster's management noted on Weibo.

27-year-old Ori started his esports career with DUOBAO in 2016. He also performed with Vici Gaming from 2017 till 2021.

With Aster, the Chinese athlete ranked fourth at The International 2022 and entered TOP-6 at TI 2021.

According to rumors, Ori is leaving esports at the insistence of his parents, who have already found him another job.

After Ori's leaving, Team Aster looks as follows:

  • Du "Monet" Peng
  • Lin "Xxs" Jing
  • Ye "BoBoKa" Zhibiao
  • Yu "皮球" Yajun
