With only one team remaining from the last tournament, the region promises a completely different tournament from previous ones, with many changes and opportunities for the NACL. Check out our other predictions for the European League and our analysis of the past Six Invitational.

    Rainbow 6 NA League Format

In a phase with 8 teams facing each other in best-of-1 matches, the region qualifies 6 teams for the second phase, giving an advantage to the first and second-placed teams, who only need to win a best of 3 to guarantee their spot in the Six Major Phase 2 playoffs. In the previous phase but still, in the playoffs, the 3rd placed team faces the 6th placed team, with the winner facing the 2nd placed team, and in the lower bracket, the 4th placed team faces the 5th placed team, with the winner facing the first placed team. In the second phase of the playoffs, the losers face each other, and whoever wins this match will be qualified for the Six Major Phase 1, while the others will have to compete in the Last Chance Qualify which guarantees a spot in the Six Major Phase 1 as well.

    Teams

    Beastcoast

With a completely new team, and mixing the Tier 2 youth with the star player “Hyper”, the team comes to the competition seeking what has not been possible so far: qualification for the Six Major. The chosen players for the organization are good players, but the team has the most players from the second division in this first stage of the North America League, so either the strategy will work perfectly, or the team may suffer during the season.

Meet the Beastcoast lineup for Stage 1 of the North America League:

    • Lachlan ‘œMrB’
    • ‘œHat’
    • ‘œTristan’
    • Collin ‘œDoq’ Cox
    • Paul ‘œHyper’ Kontopanagiotis

    Oxygen

Even with a great performance at the Six Invitational, the team arrives with changes in the lineup. With the departure of Franklyn “Vertcl” Cordero, the organization saw a good market opportunity and sought the signing of “Yoggah”, who had recently played for Oxygen. The team still maintains its favoritism due to the standout player “Nuers”, who has been making great performances in major tournaments and being fundamental for the team’s victories.

Meet the Oxygen lineup for Stage 1 of the North America League:

    • Davide ‘œFoxA’ Bucci
    • Ethan ‘œNuers’ James
    • Mitch ‘œDream’ Malson
    • Jacob ‘œSweater’ Bravico
    • Evan ‘œYoggah’ Nelson

    DarkZero

The team, which now has two world champions in their lineup, comes to this stage with high expectations due to having a very aggressive formation. With the departure of TSM, “Achieved” became available for negotiation and DarkZero did not miss the opportunity to have another star on the team, now joining “Canadian” as Six Invitational champion players.

Meet the DarkZero lineup for Stage 1 of the North America League:

    • Matthew ‘œAchieved’ Solomon
    • Nick ‘œnjr’ Rapier
    • Roberto ‘œPanbazou’ Feliciano
    • Troy ‘œCanadian’ Jaroslawski
    • Gaven ‘œGaveni’ Black

    Parabellum

With a completely new lineup, the team counts on the return of the “Skys” and “LaXInG” partnership who played together for many years in the NA, passing through teams such as Elevate and Team Reciprocity. In addition, the organization took advantage of the availability of “Spiff” with Astralis leaving the Rainbow Six: Siege competitive scene to form a trio with experience in major tournaments and 2 young players.

Meet the Parabellum lineup for Stage 1 of the North America League:

    • Chris ‘œSpiff’ Park
    • Gabriel ‘œLaXInG’ Mirelle
    • Alexander ‘œSkys’ Magor
    • Brady ‘œSpiker’ Lukens
    • Ivan ‘œPhish’ Wang

    Mirage

Another organization that had a complete change in its formation. With the team completely revamped, and different from other teams, there are 5 already experienced players in the main tournaments in the region. The team is mixed, with one player from Astralis, one from Soniqs, two from Spacestation, and one from Beastcoast, thus putting together an experienced team but one that needs work on its chemistry to be able to perform at its best.

Meet the Mirage lineup for Stage 1 of the North America League:

    • Matthew ‘œDpfire’ Macway
    • Nathanial ‘œRampy’ Duvall
    • Alexander ‘œYeti’ Lawson
    • Evan ‘œKanzen’ Bushore
    • Damian ‘œSurf’ Medina

    Spacestation

Keeping only “Fultz” and “Hotancold”, the team disbands even from their coaching staff, taking advantage of Astralis’ departure from the competitive scene to search for “Forrest”, “J9O”, and even the coaching staff with Seth “Callout” Mik and Adam “Mango” Pazner, considering the good performance of a team that was responsible throughout the Six Invitational, taking advantage of opponents’ mistakes and thus managing to achieve 4th place in the biggest championship. In addition, the team also hired a Six Invitational Champion, thus forming a competitive lineup to compete in the game’s main competitions.

Meet the Spacestation lineup for Stage 1 of the North America League:

    • Jack ‘œJ9O’ Burkard
    • Roman ‘œForrest’ Breaux
    • Bryan ‘œMerc’ Wrzek
    • Alec ‘œFultz’ Fultz
    • Matthew ‘œHotancold’ Stevens

    M80

With two changes in the lineup, the team forms one of the best formations in the world, in addition to having a great coaching staff. The arrival of “Spoit” and “Iconic” combined with the great players who stayed puts the team at another level of technical quality in the game, being able to compete for the title of the main competitions this year.

Meet the M80 lineup for Stage 1 of the North America League:

    • David ‘œiconic’ Ifidon
    • Lucas ‘œDiasLucas’ Dias
    • Leonardo ‘œKyno’ Figueiredo
    • Arthur ‘œGMZ’ Oliveira
    • William ‘œSpoit’ Löfstedt

    Soniqs

Despite maintaining the same lineup and performance below expectations at the Six Invitational, the team continues with a very strong and objective formation within the game, and cannot be forgotten in an analysis of candidates for qualification for the BLAST Major Copenhagen. In addition to the fact that “CTZN” came close to the Six Invitational, now the team would be more adapted to their style and ability to perform differently. It’s a team to keep an eye on this season.

Meet the Soniqs lineup for Stage 1 of the North America League:

    • Pablo ‘œGryxr’ Rebeil
    • Richie ‘œRexen’ Coronado
    • Emilio ‘œGeo’ Leynez
    • Shaun ‘œGunnar’ Pottorff
    • Ben ‘œCTZN’ McMillan

The North America League starts on March 15th on Rainbow6’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.
