According to sources close to the situation, Lorenzo ‘Lagonis’ Volpi and Team Liquid are in advanced talks. Team Liquid is set to say goodbye to Paulo ‘psk1’ Augusto who decided to step back from the active roster to likely retire. BLIX.GG reported that names like Felipe ‘nade’ Ferreira, Vinicius ‘Patoxy’ Lima and Luiz ‘Miracle’ Abrantes were on the list to reinforce the team. Earlier information said that Lagonis declined to join the team, although, sources told BLIX.GG, that Liquid insisted, and the player is now close to joining the team.
Lagonis is in Team oNe since the beginning of the 2021 season and during the time in the ‘golden boys’, the peak was the Six Major in Mexico where the team was able to lift the trophy. After a successful run in 2021, the 20-year-old player was the only one to stay in Team oNe for 2022. In this season, Lagonis won the Copa do Brasil in the second stage.
Gabriel ‘AsK’ Santos, former in-game leader for Team Liquid, will see Lagonis taking the role.
