Things are not easy in Rainbow Six Siege. In Brazil, Victor “Hornetao” Lopes announced that, by Magic Squad’s decision, the R6 roster is disbanded. In total, Magic Squad played 32 matches in the game.
In addition, Tropicaos is reportedly shutting down operations. A deal with The Union for the Rainbow Six Siege roster was an option above the table.
There is still the project that started the domestic league led by Gabriel “cameram4n” Hespanhol. However, the team is going through big changes. Thiago “xS3xyCake” Reis is joining the team alongside three new players; Enzo “Rappz” Aziz should stay.
Contacted by BLIX.GG, Ubisoft Brazil said: “Ubisoft Brasil is fully aware of the departure of three teams from the BLAST Rainbow Six Brazil League and is ready to proceed with the competition, following the guidelines set out in the championship's rulebook. The spots will be filled by other teams, which will be revealed soon, and the next phase of the BLAST Rainbow Six Brazil League will take place normally, with its competitive integrity preserved.”
The Brazilian League Stage 2 is set to start on September 9th, and the future of the three possible orgless teams is still unknown.
