According to multiple sources close to the organization, Evil Geniuses are not going to wait too much and aiming to improve with an addition of the Danish player Ismail “refrezh” Ali, who has reportedly reached verbal agreement with EG.
The changes were expected to happen after the fact that EG’s main CS:GO roster didn’t manage to qualify for BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: North American RMR and ending ESL Pro League S17 without a single win, being defeated by Cloud9, Eternal Fire and IHC Esports Club respectively.

refrezh will replace the Canadian rifler Jadan “HexT” Postma in EG’s lineup, who has 0.94 rating 2.0 and 0.85 K/D Ratio in 2023.
Ali was previously playing for MAD Lions, Heroic and Sprout.
Recently, refrezh was benched in Sprout by the mutual agreement of the player and the organization.
According to the Danish player, refrezh and Sprout had different points of view on how to manage and structure the team, which was one of the main reasons behind this decision.
