Marlon “Twister” Mello won’t continue in FURIA for the second split of BR6, according to sources close to BLIX.GG. The move was firstly reported by page R6BRAtualizado and posteriorly confirmed by BLIX.GG. According to sources, FURIA did not have time to get a new coach, so it is expected the assistant coach Luiz “Kizi” Carlos to be the coach.

Twister was in FURIA since April of 2020 after a one-year experience in FaZe Clan. With the Brazilian organization, the 22-year-old coach accompanied the team in two Six Invitational and three Majors - Mexico, Sweden, and Charlotte. Recently FURIA finished the Brazilian league in fourth place, getting a spot in Copa Elite Six, where the team finished in third place.

Playing from Mexico in the Six Major Charlotte, FURIA wasn’t able to get through the group stage in the competition.
