Report: FURIA planning a move to NA

According to sources familiar with the situation, the Brazilian organization FURIA is planning to relocate the Rocket League team to North America. Following a dominance in the South American scene with four Regional Events conquered, the team stepped up this year in international events.

In the Winter and Spring Majors, FURIA finished in 5th-6th, while in Gamers8 the Brazilian squad was able to lift the trophy. To finish the season, in the World Championship, FURIA fell through the winners of the competition in the semi-finals, Team BDS.

This is not the first time that a team competing in the making of the move to NA as the former True Neutral Argentinian roster made the same at the end of the last year, signing consequently with Complexity.

FURIA confirmed to Esports Insider the intention to launch a venue in Miami, Florida. This FURIA Rocket League team relocation would be part of the organization's strategy to expand to North America.
