According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Team Liquid internally analyzed the possibility of joining the PUBG Mobile scene, with, most likely, the roster that currently represents Alpha7. A7 is one of the best in the Americas, with a fourth-place finish in the last PUBG Mobile World Invitational in Riyadh. Alpha7 is an organization very focused on the title, with a couple of achievements in the Americas and a total winnings of approximately $962,969 in the history of Alpha7 in PUBG Mobile Esports.
The Brazilian roster already has a guaranteed spot in the PUBG Mobile Pro League – Americas Championship Fall, the tournament that hosts the best teams in the Americas and gives four spots to the Global Championship in Turkey. Prizepool and other details are yet to be announced, but the event will happen in November and December, finishing the 2023 PUBG Mobile Esports season.
BLIX.GG knows that Liquid has already researched opportunities in the title previously, and now the chances of entry into the scene are high. Approached by BLIX.GG, Team Liquid responded: "Team Liquid is always attentive to new possibilities, which make sense for the moment, and which are in line with the organization's values. Currently, the Cavalry has Brazilian teams in Fortnite, Rainbow Six Siege, and Valorant. If it decides to enter a new modality, the organization will announce it on its official channels.”
Alpha7’s current roster is:
- Roan “Revo” Aléssio
- Daniel “Mafioso” Vaz
- Pedro “Pedrinho” Pereira
- Alessandro “SenaTexa” Brito
- Daniel “Carrilho” Carrilho
