According to sources with knowledge of the transfer, BLIX understands that Diaz has joined w7m as their new Rocket League player. The 15-year-old will make his debut today at the Rocket Street LATAM Championship 2023 – Brazil: Event 1, a competition that will feature teams such as Ninjas in Pajamas, FURIA and Team Secret.
By joining w7m, the youngster has signed his first professional contract as a Rocket League player and is the organizations bet to secure them championships moving forwards. Diaz takes the place of André “snipjz.” Mendonça, whom BLIX reported would exit the team on September 8.
The addition of Diaz will see him join Celso “wisty” Souza and Matheus “Royales” Rodrigues, who have been part of the lineup since early 2023 when w7m entered the Rocket League scene. BLIX understands that wisty did receive some interest by other top Brazilian teams, however he ultimately remained with w7m. BLIX.GG contacted w7m to comment on the report, however they did not respond by the time of publication.
