Introducing RuneScape: Dragonwilds | Q&A With Mod Dutch
Jagex Studios has announced a new cooperative survival game set in the game’s universe. RuneScape: Dragonwilds will send us to a forgotten continent where dragons have awakened.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds takes place on the continent of Ashenfall. Do what? Simple – survive, gather resources, build shelters, and improve skills to defeat the Dragon Queen alone or with up to four friends. Anima, the living energy of the RuneScape universe and a source of magic, will add uniqueness: it can be used to summon, for example, ghostly axes to chop down trees or blast veins of ore.
The continent itself will be made up of two regions with different biomes. The franchise players will be able to recognize various creatures from the series; however, they will look a bit different due to the magic of Ashenfall. Some will be fused with thorns or other plant elements.
As with any RuneScape game, community plays a key role. RuneScape: Dragonwilds is shaped by player feedback at every stage of development, from alpha testing to version 1.0 and beyond!
Conclusion
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is going into Early Access on Steam this spring. Players are already invited to sign up to participate in the alpha testing, which started at the end of 2024. You can follow the game on Steam or on the official website. More details are promised to be revealed on the Twitch broadcast on April 15.
