According to sources with knowledge of the negotiations, BLIX understands that Nicolas "Decay" Gawron has reached a verbal agreement with French organization Solary to join their lineup in the La Ligue Française (LFL) next year.

The move comes after Decay announced that his contract is set to expire with Giants and that the Spanish organization allowed him to explore his options for 2024.

Decay's departure from Giants would see the French Mid-Laner leave the Superliga and return to his home scene, the LFL, after last playing in the French region during 2020 with Misfits and Team MCES. Decay has a long history of playing in various European Regional Leagues (ERL), having previously played in the German Prime League alongside the previously mentioned LFL and Superliga.

Solary have been on the lookout for a new Mid-Laner after Pengcheng "Peng" Shen announced his contract would also be expiring in November. The team is likely looking to improve their domestic performance after finishing the year-end Coupe de France 2023 with zero wins, falling to Team du Sud in a 0-3 loss in the single-elimination bracket.

The League of Legends off season has just started, so we recommend following BLIX to get the latest news and roster reports.
