Former Eintracht Frankfurt jungler Pascal ‘Akre’ Akremi and former Hertha BSC support Nick ‘Nio’ Kartamyschew both reached a verbal agreement with Guasones ahead of Superliga 2023, sources told BLIX.GG on Wednesday. The Northern Spanish team would finally close the roster after some visa issues with their previous jungler noname.
Both players come from the German Prime League 2nd Division, and would debut in a Major ERL for the first time. On one hand, jungler, Akre, managed to reach 3rd place twice in both splits of PL 2nd Division, and was chosen between names such as former UCAM Esports jungler Thayger.
On the other hand, Nio reached PL 2nd Div finals twice in 2022, winning Spring Split, as well as an impressive win the Prime League Winter Cup ahead of Division 1 Prime League teams such as BIG, whom they defeated in the finals with a score of 3-1. Nio was one of the top prospects in Prime League, being considered and tryouted by several German teams.
With both players, as well as midlaner Raúl ‘Hydra’ Moreno, who is expected to stay with the team, Guasones closes their roster for the 2023, which would be comprised of:
- Toplane: Jakub ‘Dreedy’ Vicenik
- Jungle: Pascal ‘Akre’ Akremi
- Midlane: Raúl ‘Hydra’ Moreno
- Botlane: Adrian ‘Odi11’ Kruk
- Support: Nick ‘Nio’ Kartamyschew
- Head Coach: Mario ‘Motroco’ MartÃnez
