Sources: Kirei set to becomes Heretic LOL's Assistant Coach in the LEC

According to BLIX's sources, Thomas "Kirei" Yuen has reached a verbal agreement with Team Heretics to be their assistant coach in the LEC.

Before transitioning to coaching in 2022, Kirei was a highly-accomplished jungler with multiple years in the LCS, LEC and LFL. His competitive career started in 2015 and saw the Dutch player compete with the likes of Dignitas in North America, Misfits and Schalke 04 in the LEC, and most recently NASR in the TCL.

Kirei debuted as a coach at Mirage Elyandra before joining 100 Thieves Academy in 2022, finding strong results in the LCS Proving Grounds.

With this, Team Heretics will have found a new assistant coach and will try to improve the results for 2024. At the moment we can't say for sure what other changes Team Heretics will make in LEC, but it will make some. Follow BLIX's reports for the latest news.
