According to sources with knowledge of the transfer, BLIX understands that Leviatán have reached a verbal agreement with former LOUD player Erick "aspas" Santos to secure his services for the 2024 VCT season.
aspas is now likely set to join Leviatán after eliciting interest from a number of organizations. BLIX understands FURIA, Team Liquid, and even some APAC teams were interested in recruiting the Brazilian, however he ultimately agreed on a deal with Leviatán.
The Latin American team is now looking for a fifth player in this transfer season, which is going as well as possible for Leviatán. In addition to this change, Rodrigo "Onur" Dalmagro announced his departure from the team. Before this verbal agreement, other journalists such as Lembo reported that Leviatán made an offer for aspas.
Leviatán finished in fifth place in VCT 2023: Americas League and these changes would be made to improve on this result in 2024.
