The story is that back in 2014, many independent artists created author skins for weapons and uploaded them to the game, and one of them was user Auzzii, who created Howl. A month later, the developers announced that this skin was no longer available in the Huntsman Collection and Huntsman Weapon Case, but only by purchasing it from another user through trading resources. Devs changed the appearance, and it got a new "Contraband" rarity.

This skin is one-of-a-kind and utterly blue on one side, which is why it's nicknamed the Blue Gem. There are about 13 different variations of blue Karambit, but the 387 pattern is the absolute best since the color is extremely clear.
It sold for just $100,000 in 2016, but a lot of time has passed since then, and the owner recently received an offer for the highest skin price ever: $1.4 million. However, the sale did not go through, and this Karambit is now worth $600,000.
