Valorant is now in the off-season and as such thereâs new content available for players to test out. One of these is the new Gaiaâs Vengeance 2.0 skins bundle. It’s been quite a long time since we last saw a new premium skin bundle launched. Interestingly, Valorant provides multiple versions of the same skinline instead of a new skin completely. Within this article, weâll be taking a look at all the skins and providing our opinions if the skin is worth the price.
Whatâs in the Gaiaâs Vengeance 2.0 Bundle and is it worth the price?
When it was first launched Gaiaâs Vengeance was widely appreciated by the community. Taking references from nature as well as trees is a unique choice compared to other skin styles, having such creative freedom as well as providing new animations for weapons was a breath of fresh air for players.
Hereâs the weapons available in the Gaiaâs Vengeance 2.0 Bundle:
· Shorty
· Bucky
· Phantom
· Aries
· Gaiaâs Fury (knife)
The bundle price for the Gaiaâs Vengeance is 7100 Valorant Points while the price for each weapon skin individually is 1775 Valorant Points. The knife on its own would cost 4350 Valorant Points. Making this one of the more expensive Skin Bundles.
Thereâs a small hidden gem within this bundle, and it concerns the Gun Buddy, which changes color based on the variant of the weapon that youâre using.
Whatâs new about this version of Gaiaâs Vengeance?
The first thing many will spot about the Gais Vengeance 2.0 is the new knife in the bundle, the Gaiaâs Fury. This is a smaller knife compared to the axe available in the first version. If the axe is missing from your collection, donât worry, if you upgrade your knife you get the axe too. This makes you dual-wield the knife and axe at once with unique animations for both. The pull-out animation is quite a treat to watch, with the player spinning both the axe and knife simultaneously.
Looking at the other weapon skins from this bundle the main new feature is an aura shown around the weapon during the pullout animation. If there was any weapon from the new bundle which seems like quite the buy itâs the Shorty â there arenât a lot of skins for this upgradable weapon in Valorant. What makes the Shorty skin comparatively unique is that during the reload animation gems instead of bullets are loaded into the weapon.
So, is this bundle worth the 7100 Valorant points? In our opinion, unless youâre a fan of this skinline itâs not worth it. If youâre considering purchasing an individual skin, weâd suggest the Shorty for the above reason, plus all its color variants look quite appealing to the eye. If you do buy any weapon skin, itâs probably worth getting the Gun Buddy as well for the color-change feature we mentioned earlier.
