The Judge shotgun is one of Valorant’s most widely used shotguns, particularly among agents with mobility capabilities, such as Jett and Raze, as well as Reyna. While the Judge can be a deadly weapon in the correct hands, it also necessitates proper positioning and timing to be effective. Since the launch of the game, there have been various clips of players getting multiple kills using this weapon. Many players even raged after being rushed by a Raze at the start of the round. As such, within this article, we will be looking at the top 5 Judge skins in 2023

#5: Crimsonbeast Judge
One of the oldest skins in the game is the Crimsonbeast Judge skin, and you could consider its design symbolic of emotions like rage. The flames within the body of the skin add another dimension to its rustic look. There are also references to an iron rod, glowing as if it’s been heated in a forge. Another unique aspect of the Crimsonbeast appears following a kill; the gun is surrounded by fire. With a raging bull-like figure within the body it references the aggressive playstyle one might take while wielding the weapon.
#4: Glitchpop Judge
Now, this opinion might turn a few heads, but hear us out. The Glitchpop Judge is one of the most loved skins by the community. Nearly everyone with a Judge skin has equipped it in the game at some point. Its anime-like vibe and the different available variants make it one of the best skins in the game. The major issue is it’s also one of the most common skins in the game currently. Due to nearly everyone owning it, it makes it less special when someone equips the weapon. With its unique finisher following the last kill and the gold and black variant being so underrated, we’ve ranked it fourth place.
#3: Elderflame Judge
Let’s be honest: who doesn’t like a gun with a very different style? Especially compared to the rest of the game’s weapons. The Elderflame Judge has a unique body designed like a dragon. The head of the dragon forms the gun’s muzzle, and the head moves with each shot, which is just the cherry on top. Its finisher, a dragon breathing fire onto your opponent’s body, hasn’t lost its charm after so long. Some keep this skin close to their heart, and some don’t equip it at all; feeling the skin’s movement might make it too distracting to use in-game. The black and blue dragon variant is also quite underrated for this skinline in our opinion.
#2: Imperium Judge
There might be a form of recency bias when it comes to the Imperium Judge, thanks to how beautiful all variants of the weapon look. The Imperium Judge has references to the body of a dragon and precious materials like gold and jade. The finisher is currently one of the best in the game. The dragon having a reference to two different anime just adds to the appeal. The white or black variants of the weapon are the best to see the dragons in all their beauty and awe.
#1: Chronovoid Judge
The last skin on our list is the Chronovoid Judge. This skin in each of its variants provides a sense of a royal aura. With a rotating sphere in the body of the weapon, there is a futuristic vibe to this weapon. This is one of the few Judge skins in the game to have a unique reload animation. The sphere within the body of the weapon being removed to reload is a beautiful touch. The finisher, sealing the enemy’s body in a similar material to the weapon, is wonderful. Within this skin line, we would suggest trying the rose edition of the skin.
