The Russian squad will stay in the esport, at least for now. Besides the rumors in social media, Virtus.pro exclusively denied the rumors to BLIX. The organization mentions the rumors have “no foundation” and confirms the focus of the team is on their upcoming international competitions.

“There have been some speculations about our club’s RS6 roster being disbanded after BLAST Major Atlanta. We would like to clarify that those rumors have no foundation whatsoever. We are totally focused on preparing to the Major in Atlanta and Six Invitational in São Paulo.”
The team is in an ascending phase, winning Stage 2 of the European League. In addition to the already guaranteed qualification for the Six Major in Atlanta starting at the end of October, Virtus.pro has also secured a place in the Six Invitational in February of next year.
