Andrey "Dukalis" Kuropatkin, who's been benched in the Virtus.pro Dota 2 team since after the end of the first DPC 2023 tour, is leaving the club, the organization reported on Twitter.

"Andrey accepted the invitation to Virtus.pro at the beginning of the season and became the first captain of the new roster. His long-term playing connection with krylat (Alexandr "krylat" Krylatov) helped the team to adapt to the sudden change in the roster in the shortest possible time. We grant him free agent status ahead of the last transfer window of the season, as we understand the importance of competitive practice and the opportunity for self-realization for a player. I sincerely wish Andrey to find a new team as soon as possible, the one in which he'll be able to open up and achieve his goals," said Alexander "StrangeR" Solomonov, Head of Dota 2 department.

Virtus.pro parted ways with krylat earlier this month. He became a free agent on April 7. However, replacements for the duo were found back in March.

Dukalis, ex-captain of the Virtus.pro team, mentioned that he plans to build his own roster.

"Well, from today I'm a free agent, which I'm happy about because I want to play back again. Plus a new patch is coming out, which gives even more motivation. I plan to assemble my team and there I will already see where and with whom, but there are good options," he noted on his Telegram channel.

Virtus.pro’s Dota 2 roster is now:

  • Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov
  • Ilya "squad1x" Kuvaldin
  • Evgeniy "Noticed" Ignatenko
  • Oleg "sayuw" Kalenbet
  • Artsiom "Fng" Barshak (Captain)
