Brazil and Rainbow Six Siege continue to be synonymous with titles for South Americans and the Major in Atlanta was no different.

The competition started with the Play-in, but it was in the second phase of the Major in Swiss format, called playoffs, that interesting stories began to be written.

One of the surprises of the competition was Geekay Esports, a team that came from the MENA region. After beating Ninjas in Pajamas in the Play-in, in the next phase the Saudi team started 2-0 with victories over w7m and BDS. Although they were unable to avoid defeats against G2 and LOS, in the decisive game, Geekay prevailed over Wolves. The historic feat had already been achieved by the team that fell in the quarterfinals to w7m, still managing to win a map in the series.

Bleed still made Asian fans dream in the competition, starting the playoffs with 2-0, but not achieving the much-desired victory they needed to compete in the finals.

On the other hand, the M80 disappointed again. The team that arrived at the Major as seed 2 in North America, failed to win any map in the competition.

    Finals

The finals in a playoff format were funneling the teams with the Brazilian teams prevailing. In one of the quarterfinals, in a European duel, G2 "killed" BDS' hopes of competing in the Six Invitational in February, while LOS eliminated the home team, DarkZero, confirming their presence in next year's competition.

In the semifinals, LOS continued the fairy tale, overcoming FaZe Clan's favoritism, after a 2-0 victory.

Before that, w7m had already sent G2 home with a victory for the same result.

In this way, w7m was present in the second consecutive Major final, while LOS had the chance to revalidate the title, although the victory of the Major in Mexico was while "Team oNe", an organization that merged with Los Grandes, forming LOS.

    Grand Final

The final between w7m and LOS delivered the excitement that the Atlanta arena fans deserved. w7m opened a comfortable lead of two maps in the best of five, but LOS did not give up and beat Bank.

At Kafe Dostoyevsky, excitement took over the map with w7m prevailing and lifting the cup.

Check out the results of the series:
