What would have happened if Mikyx had stayed in Excel?

A couple of days ago we found out through various sources including LEC_Wooloo or Blix’s own editorial staff, the quintet with which Excel Esports would play next season in the LEC.

The offseason the British club has been very marked by a name that has given much to talk about this season, Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle. The Slovenian support has had many offers this offseason but in the final stretch the two big candidates were G2 Esports and Excel itself, and although the final decision was not on the part of the British club, Mikyx took a long time to think about it because Excel had in mind a roster that the support was excited about and thought it would give a lot to talk about next season.

Odoamne, Xerxe and Vetheo will be 3 of the new additions for next year in the LEC by

Excel, but none of these three would have been in the roster theoretically if Mikyx had continued in the team. Finn “Finn” WiestÃ¥l, Martin “Yike” Sundelin and Adam “LIDER” Ilyasov were the personal bets of both the British team and Mikyx if the Slovenian support had stayed at the club, a roster with a lot of potential and that for both parties made a lot of sense in terms of synergies and ways of seeing the game.

Despite having fought until the last moment against G2 Esports, Mikyx opted for his former club and Excel decided to explore the market where he would find his 4 new pieces and form what we now know as his roster for next season being formed by:

    – Odoamne

    – Xerxe

    – Vetheo

    – Patrik

    – Targamas

    – Youngbuck
