The Chinese esports organization has announced its new Dota 2 roster for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit season.
The organization has radically updated the team. Only Zhou “Emo” Yi, who has been playing for Invictus Gaming since 2018, remains from the previous roster. Emo has been moved to the first position.
For the second position, IG has placed Zhou “Dust” Shiyuan. He played in 2018-2021 for the academic roster iG Vitality, and after that, he performed for Team MagMa.
Li “Irving” Jian and Cui “qyqx” Chenyang were loaned out to Team MagMa last season. They have returned to IG and will play in the third and fifth positions respectively.
The fourth position will be taken by Wilson “poloson” Koh. The 26-year-old Singaporean player had come to IG from Team SMG.
The past season has not been the best for IG. Based on the results of the DPC Tour 3, the team retained its place in Division II. They also failed to qualify for The International 2022, unlike in 2021 when they were ranked fourth in the main Dota 2 tournament.
