Neutral Creep Updates
Dota 2: Neutral creeps
Harpy Stormcrafter:
- Chain Lightning Mana Cost increased from 50 to 60
This slight tweak could impact heroes who can poach neutral creeps, such as Chen and Enchantress. This change will slightly weaken their early game.

- Health bonus decreased from 350 to 300
- Eternal Chains damage decreased from 180 to 165
Rod of Atos:
- Health bonus decreased from 300 to 275
This change will significantly affect heroes frequently purchasing these items, including Windranger, Lina, Arc Warden, Troll Warlord, Ember Spirit, etc.

Hero Updates
In patch 7.37c, several minor changes affected a large number of heroes. We’ve highlighted the most significant changes from this patch for you. You can find the full list of changes on the game’s official website.
Anti-Mage
Dota 2: Anti-Mage Persona
Facet: Magebane’s Mirror
Counterspell:
- Reflected Spell Amp increased from 20% to 30%
Counterspell Ally:
- Reflected Spell Amp increased from 20% to 30%
Blink:
- Cooldown decreased from 13.5/11/8.5/6s to 12/10/8/6s
The Blink change is the most significant Anti–Mage enhancement in this patch. Reducing the cooldown on early levels of this ability will slightly speed up the farming of this hero and allow for more active movement on the map.
Ember Spirit
Dota 2 hero: Ember Spirit
Sleight of Fist:
- Mana Cost rescaled from 65 to 60/65/70/75
Flame Guard
- Damage per second decreased from 20/30/40/50 to 15/25/35/45
Nerfs to Sleight of Fist and Flame Guard can significantly impact Ember Spirit. The ability nerfs are also complemented by the weakening of Gleipnir. Ember Spirit will likely disappear from the current meta.
Nature’s Prophet
Dota 2 hero: Nature’s Prophet
Facet: Ironwood Treant
Nature’s Call:
- Treant’s Base Attack Time increased from 1.4s to 1.6s
Wrath of Nature:
- Base Damage decreased from 120/155/190 to 100/140/180
A very significant weakening of Nature’s Prophet. Nature’s Call combined with Facet: Ironwood Treant creates a very powerful ent, which destroys opponents on the line. It will be easier to laning up against this hero.
Omniknight
Dota 2 hero: Omniknight
Purification:
- Aghanim’s Shard secondary Purification effectiveness decreased from 75% to 65%
Repel:
- Duration decreased from 6s to 5s

Talents:
- Level 10 Talent +1s Guardian Angel Duration replaced with +1s Repel Duration
- Level 20 Talent +2s Repel Duration replaced with +2s Guardian Angel Duration
Omniknight has received several abilities nerfs, including a reduction in the effectiveness of Aghanim’s Shard. These changes and item buffs being nerfed have made Omniknight a controversial pick in the current meta.

Phantom Rush:
- Bonus Agility is now applied during the rush as well as the 1.5s after it ends
Phantom Lancer has received significant enhancements in this patch. Both his stats and abilities have been improved. Since this isn’t the first patch to boost Phantom Lancer, this hero will likely be back in the meta soon.
Ringmaster

- Base Movement Speed decreased from 315 to 310
Strongman Tonic:
- Bonus Strength per Ringmaster’s level decreased from 1.5 to 1

- Automatic explosion time decreased from 8s to 6s
Spotlight:
- Linger duration increased from 0.1s to 0.3s
Since its appearance in the game, this hero has had a high win rate. It is very fitting that Ringmaster received his nerfs in this patch.
Windranger
Dota 2 hero: Windranger
- Base Agility decreased from 19 to 17
Talents:
- Level 15 Talent Windrun Cooldown Reduction decreased from 2.5s to 2s
- Level 20 Talent Focus Fire Damage Penalty Reduction decreased from 12% to 10%
In patch 7.37c, Windranger received significant nerfs. The talents frequently used by this character were weakened, and the item Gleipnir, commonly used in her builds, was also nerfed. As a result, Windranger’s win rate is expected to decrease compared to the previous patch.
