American esports organization XSET has released its main Valorant lineup as they couldnât get into the franchise league.
In a statement released on Twitter, the organization’s management said they want their players to be able to join the squads that will play in Tier 1.
“Against all odds, we built a world class roster and we have left our mark on the history of Valorant forever. We want to thank everyone that had anything to do with the game but most importantly our players, coaches don & drew, and staff for building something amazing,” XSET noted.
The organization hasnât completely left the discipline though. Their female squad Xset Purple will continue to compete in VCT Game Changers and XSET will evaluate its options for 2023.
XSET ranked 4th at VCT 2022: North America Stage 1 Challengers and won Stage 2. They also made to the top 8 at the 2022 Copenhagen Major and the top 6 at the Valorant Champions 2022 in Istanbul.
