According to sources close to the situation, Lorenzo âLagonisâ Volpi and Team Liquid are in advanced talks. Team Liquid is set to say goodbye to Paulo âpsk1â Augusto who decided to step back from the active roster to likely retire. BLIX.GG reported that names like Felipe ânadeâ Ferreira, Vinicius âPatoxyâ Lima and Luiz âMiracleâ Abrantes were on the list to reinforce the team. Earlier information said that Lagonis declined to join the team, although, sources told BLIX.GG, that Liquid insisted, and the player is now close to joining the team.
Lagonis is in Team oNe since the beginning of the 2021 season and during the time in the âgolden boysâ, the peak was the Six Major in Mexico where the team was able to lift the trophy. After a successful run in 2021, the 20-year-old player was the only one to stay in Team oNe for 2022. In this season, Lagonis won the Copa do Brasil in the second stage.
Gabriel âAsKâ Santos, former in-game leader for Team Liquid, will see Lagonis taking the role.
