The Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere has been testing CS:GO 2 for a month, insider Aleksey “OverDrive” Biryukov has reported on his Telegram channel, citing his sources in Valve.
“An insider from Valve told me that, it turns out, NAVI has had access keys to CS:GO 2 for a month now, and they have been training in it for a month so that when it comes out, they will be the best there, so this explains everything,” he said.
At the same time, NAVI star Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostylev recently stated that there is no beta version of CS:GO on Source 2 yet and that rumors about this are fakes from professional players and streamers.
The porting of CS:GO to the new Source 2 engine is one of the most anticipated events in the community.
Evidence of the imminent appearance of the game on the new engine consistently makes headlines.
