BESTIA has revealed the inclusion of Leonardo ‘leo_drk’ Oliveira, restoring their roster to four players following the recent exit of Fillipe ‘pancc’ Martins and the placement of Nazareno ‘naz’ Romero on the bench.
BESTIA Announcement
‘leo_drk’ joins after having played for Swingers at the beginning of 2025, where he competed against BESTIA multiple times this year, most recently achieving a 2-0 victory to knock them out of CCT South America Series 7.
The Brazilian player is joining BESTIA, which participated in two RMR events last year: the Americas RMRs for PGL Major Copenhagen and Perfect World Shanghai Major. The Argentinian team nearly qualified for the Perfect World Shanghai Major but ended with a 2-3 record after losing a tightly contested match against M80 in double overtime.
Tomas ‘tomaszin’ Corna especially caught attention during their Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR campaign, achieving a 1.37 rating that ranked him second overall in the event, surpassing notable players like Jonathan ‘EliGE’ Jablonowski and Roland ‘ultimate’ Tomkowiak.
Despite their presence at RMR events, BESTIA has faced difficulties maintaining consistent performance and has altered its lineup several times in the past year in pursuit of stability.
Following a disappointing beginning to 2025, during which they faced multiple tournament-eliminating defeats against lower-ranked teams, BESTIA has decided to make two adjustments, with ‘leo_drk’ stepping in as their first substitute.
BESTIA roster is as follows:
- Tomas ‘tomaszin’ Corna
- Luciano ‘luchov’ Herrera
- Nicolás ‘Noktse’ Dávila
- Leonardo ‘leo_drk’ Oliveira
- Julián ‘Zote’ Acosta (coach)
- Nazareno ‘naz’ Romero (benched)
