Who is Waylay
Waylay is the newest duelist in the Valorant lineup. Her number is 28th, and she comes from the Philippines. Waylay wants to challenge the battlefield by transforming into the lights itself. With a strong set of utilities, Waylay can rush through the site and back out in the blink of an eye. She has a strong presence in the game with her holographic rainbow color scheme and bright colors. Her official description reads:
Thailand’s prismatic radiant Waylay transforms into light itself as she darts across the battlefield, striking down her targets through shards of light before flitting back to safety, all in the blink of an eye.

- Equip to focus your prismatic power.
- Fire to creates an afterimage that projects a beam of light. After a brief delay, gain a speed boost as the beam expands, HINDERING nearby players.

Valorant Waylay Release Date
The new duelist is expected to be released for the masses on March 5th, two days after the Grand Final of Masters Shanghai. During her launch period, Riot Games is expecting some feedback from the community for an upcoming buff or nerf.
