Buğra ‘Calyx’ Arkın and Rasmus ‘kreaz’ Johansson have been removed from Sangal’s main lineup and given the chance to seek new opportunities, as announced by the Turkish organization on Friday.
The decision concludes the brief tenure of the two players with the team, which started in early January when Sangal formed a completely new roster following the departure of their previous core to HEROIC.
During that period, Sangal, being a new team without any points on the Valve Regional Standings, participated only in unranked competitions and open qualifiers, but they did not achieve significant success.
The remaining members added in January—Danil ‘danistzz’ Roslyakov, Raul ‘Blytz’ Gligor, and Bartosz ‘bnox’ Niebisz—continue to be part of the roster.
The squad opted for Hakan ‘h0kz’ Sarıçam and Görkem ‘tgN’ Çiçek in place of the two current players during their recent European Pro League game against Permitta on March 9, but it remains uncertain if the two Turkish players are Sangal’s long-term objectives.
