Nigma Galaxy Couldn’t Hold Xtreme Gaming
Following the epic Day 2, Day 3 of TI 2025 kicked off with an intriguing series between Xtreme Gaming and Nigma Galaxy. People were hoping to see KuroKy and his team succeed and advance to the event’s next stage, but this did not happen.
Xtreme Gaming has been one of the most dominant Dota 2 teams at this TI and it proved it yet again. The Chinese had no problems in Games 1 and 2 and secured two quick and convincing victories.
Sadly, this puts an end to KuroKy’s dream of winning the Aegis for the 3rd time. Nevertheless, Nigma Galaxy achieved a solid result, considering its overall performance throughout the season.
South America Lost its Only TI 2025 Representative
The second series of the day was also in the Lower Bracket and it put together BetBoom Team and HEROIC. It was another one of those David vs Goliath battles because everyone expected the BB Team to dominate. While the team did win and eliminate the South American squad, the series was anything but easy.
Following a dominant victory in Game 1, HEROIC changed completely for Game 2 and delivered BB Team’s most impressive loss so far. The team overpowered their opponents from the get-go and needed just 35 minutes to win.
No one knew what to expect from Game 3, considering what happened. In the end, however, BetBoom’s experience kicked in and the team had a strong performance. It wasn’t easy because HEROIC’s Enigma was a constant threat, but the hero was not enough to stop GPK and co.
Falcons are the First Grand Finalist
The third series of the day was the most interesting one yet because it was between the two behemoths at TI 2025. Team Falcons and PARIVISION gave everything they got, but in the end, only one of them survived.
Game 1 was all about PVISION and their deadly AM and QoP combo. Falcons tried keeping them under control, but failed to do so after around 15 minutes of play. The EEU team’s two cores slowly became way too powerful and granted their team the win.
Game 2 was completely different because Team Falcons annihilated PARIVISION. It was probably Falcons’s best game so far because the team gave its opponents no chances.
The third game was a classic matchup that lasted for over one hour. It had everything a Dota 2 fan could want, but in the end, Falcons won. This means the team secured a slot for the Grand Final.
BetBoom Team Is Also Out of TI 2025
The last series was in the Lower Bracket and it was between Xtreme Gaming and BetBoom Team. Normally, the EEU team would have been the favorites, but XG’s performance so far has been impressive and the team proved it yet again.
After an amazing Game 1 that lasted over 60 minutes, the Chinese took the series lead. This motivated them for Game 2, where XG’s Sven and Leshrac combo outplayed their opponents. The match was truly epic to watch because the late-game from both teams were on another level. In the end, however, Ame’s Sven proved to be too strong and won XG the game. This victory eliminated BB Team and guaranteed Xtreme Gaming a place at the LB Final.
