Sadly, The International 2025 came to an end. Today was the last day of epic action, where we saw the LB final and the Grand Final. Needless to say, both matches were epic to watch, so let’s dive in and learn more about them.
PVISION Could Not Survive Against Xtreme Gaming
The last day at TI 2025 kicked off with the Lower Bracket final, a match between PVISION and Xtreme Gaming. After the last time these two met, people thought PVISION would win, but it seems like the Chinese were more motivated.
Even though the first game did not end well for them, Xtreme Gaming bounced back in the second one and equalized the match. This pushed the series into a final Game 3, which was over 60 minutes long. PVISION tried their best, but the team was unable to deal with Ame’s Medusa as the latter carried the Chinese to the Grand Final. This is the first TI where a Chinese team reaches this state since 2021, when PSG.LGD lost against Team Spirit.
The International 2025 Grand Final
After Xtreme Gaming’s success, it was time for the team to meet Team Falcons in the TI 2025 Grand Final. This happened to be the 2nd game between these two because XG defeated them in the Group Stage a few days ago.
The first map between the two was a tactical deathmatch that went in favor of XG. Ame’s Ursa countered the entire Falcons’ lineup, securing the Chinese a comfortable lead in the series.
Despite losing the first game, Team Falcons rose from the ashes in Game 2. The team got a solid start early on and use their Primal Beast and Bristleback combo to secure a comfortable advantage. XG had no other way of answering and lost this match.
Moving on to Game 3, it had everything we could want from a TI Grand Final. People expected the Falcons to win because they got their comfortable picks, but XG’s incredible SF and Sven lineup survived. They slowly became too strong and won the game, pushing the series into Game 4.
We expected Xtreme Gaming to close the series in Game 4, but this was not the case. Falcons decided to steal a page from their book by getting Ursa and the hero proved yet again why it’s among the best at TI 2025. ATF was on another level and carried his team in the most dominant victory in the series, pushing into a Game 5.
The last game was a one-hour battle in which we saw Ame’s signature Juggernaut. Sadly, the hero was not powerful enough to stop Team Falcoms from outplaying their opponents. Cr1t and the rest had an amazing draft that was just too strong to overcome, and the team lifted the Aegis.
