OG is looking to rebuild its roster after failing to qualify for The International 2025. The first one is related to Daniel “Stormstormer” Schoetzau because he is no longer a part of the team. Here’s what you need to know.
OG Part Ways With Stormstormer
Stormstormer has been OG’s captain in the last couple of months because he joined the team in May 2025. He tried to help the team qualify for TI 2025, but even he was unable to meet fans’ expectations. We expected him to stay in OG at least a few more months and rebuild the team around him, but it seems like this will not be the case.
Now that the player is no longer a part of OG, the latter has the following players:
- Indji “Shad” Lub
- Mihajlo “MikSa`” Jovanovic
- Tamir “daze” Tokpanov
Stormstormer did not do much with OG other than winning the CCT Season 2 Series 4, which was a Tier 3 event. OG thanked him for the “leadership, humor and dedication to the team” and wished him all the best in the next chapter.
If Quinn did not announce his retirement, we would not be surprised if he became a part of OG. However, he is no longer a professional player, so we will have to see who will fill in Stormstormer’s shoes
Speaking of next chapters, the next couple of days will be very interesting. We expect to see big roster changes around OG, so make sure to follow us for more details.
Dota 2 Free Agents
Interestingly, OG also mentioned that 23, Nine and Ari are also free agents after the end of TI14. All of them have been around for a long time, so we expect to see them in action again. We recently learned that Crystallis and Saksa left Tundra, so we would not be surprised if they join OG.
