Nigma Galaxy Confirms Ghost’s Departure
Why Ghost Left Nigma Galaxy
To be honest, we can’t say we are surprised by the fact that Ghost left Nigma Galaxy. He became a part of the team after standing in for Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi after the latter went away due to health issues. After several good results, Nigma decided to keep Ghost on the roster, but it seems like this decision did not last long.
After Ghost’s arrival, Nigma played in FISSURE Universe: Episode 6 and FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, but it did not impress that much. The team has been struggling on the Tier 1 Dota 2 scene for years now and has missed out on countless big events in the last few years.
Having said that, 2025 seems like a turning point because the team slowly but steadily started regaining momentum. This led to a surprising top 6 placement at The International 2025, and everyone was optimistic for the future.
Sadly, the post-TI experience for Nigma has not been the best. The team made several mistakes and was eliminated by teams that it should have defeated. As a result, this led to Ghost’s departure.
Will Miracle- Return to the Team?
Now that Ghost is no longer in action, we will have to wait and see who will take his slot. Based on the initial rumours, we may finally see Miracle- in action after being away for so long. However, we will have to wait for the official announcement to see if this will be the case.
