This was definitely one of the things we did not expect to see, but here it is. Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, Team Secret’s legendary Dota 2 superstar, decided to move to PARIVISION as the team’s coach. The twist is that he will be in this role for DreamLeague Season 27, which actually starts today.
Puppey to Coach PARIVISION for DreamLeague Season 27
It’s safe to say that no one expected this to happen, let alone a few hours before the last big Dota 2 tournament of 2025. Puppey is a living legend in the game and he has played for Team Secret for over a decade now. No one can deny that he belongs to a group of “immortal” Dota 2 players that will go down in history as one of the greatest, so seeing him in a different role is weird, to say the least.
According to PARIVISION, Clement decided to take on the coach role and help the team in the upcoming tournament. This is very kind of him and PARIVISION will really need all the help they can get. After all, the team will go up against some of the best in the world.
Puppey & Team Secret
Dota 2 fans will be very interested in seeing Puppey in a completely different role. Normally, he is the team’s position 5 and the captain, but since Team Secret failed to qualify for DreamLeague Season 27, he decided to help another team with his experience.
Speaking of Team Secret, it has been a while since we’ve seen the squad achieve anything. In fact, its last impressive result is from 2022 when it finished 2nd at The International 2022. When it comes down to winning a big event, Secret lifted the DreamLeague Season 13 trophy in 2020, which was 5 years ago.
