Team Tidebount Shuts Down Operations
We definitely did not expect to see this one common, but the team’s management made an official statement on Weibo. According to our sources, among the main reasons why TT is seizing operations is because of the lack of talent in the region. It also seems like the club has had other issues that have also added to the situation.
Some of you may remember that Team Tidebound started operating less than one year ago. Despite the fact that it had numerous big names in the roster, such as y and Faith_bian, the team did not live up ot the expectations. There was some initial success, such as winning the Clavison Masters 2025: Snow-ryu, but this is where it ended.
Team Tidebound was unable to live to the expectations beyond that. The team did not win the Asian Champions League 2025 and failed at The International 2025.
What happens with Team Tidebound’s Players?
If we analyze what’s going on with TT’s roster, we will see that three players have already moved to Vici Gaming. The latter welcomed shiro, planet and y’. NothingToSay, on the other hand, will now be playing for Xtreme Gaming.
It will be interesting to see the two new rosters in action at the ESL Challenger China. The event itself will be between January 30 and February 1.
