Just two days before 2026, Aybek “T2000” Tokayev decided to part ways with Nigma Galaxy. He became a part of the club in October, but it seems like things were not going well for him.
TA2000 is no Longer a Part of Nigma Galaxy
It’s safe to say that this roster change is a result of a very disappointing end of the year for Nigma Galaxy. The team parted ways with Daniel Chain “Ghost” Kok Hong in November and has struggled to find a good replacement. Despite reaching the top 6 at The International 2025, the squad has not been able to do much after that.
TA2000 stepped in just a few days after Ghost left the team. He came on a loan from Team Yandex and people expected him to make a difference, but this was not the case. He and Nigma failed to live up to the expectations and achieved a series of bad results. Fans were hyped because Maroun “GH” Merhej announced he’ll be coming back to NGX for DreamLeague Season 27, but even he was not enough.
After leaving Nigma Galaxy, TA2000 will be looking for a new home. There are several big names looking for a new carry right now, so there is a good chance we’ll see him in teams like PSG Quest or Aurora Gaming.
Nigma’s New Player
Now that TA2000 is no longer a part of the team, Nigma Galaxy has to try and find a new carry. A lot of people expect Ghost to find his way because he has not been with a new team since leaving. Others, however, prefer to see the likes of Amer “Miracle- “Al-Barkawi, a player who has been on the bench for a while. Sadly, we do not have any official confirmation as to whether Miracle- will make it.
Nigma will take part in the BLAST Slam VI qualifiers in just a few days from now, so it has to announce its new players. We’ll make sure to keep an eye on that and let you know, so follow Blix.gg for more information.
