Once Human often sends you and your friend to different Worlds when you connect to the server. This is done to prevent server overload and ensure smooth gameplay.
You cannot change the server, so choosing a server at the beginning of the game is crucial. You can switch between Worlds on the server, though. Once Human doesn’t explain how to do this at first, and as a result, many players need clarification on the process, we’ll help you figure out how it works.

Server and World – What’s the Difference?
There are two types of servers for all players – PvP and PvE, respectively. Conventionally, they are divided into those where there are battles between players (PvP) and those where gamers explore the World together without conflicts with each other (PvE). The titles opposite will indicate how busy they are.
The servers differ in the level of development of the World. This feature is tied to unlocking various content.
Most players agree that PvP is only suitable for those with three more active players. If you play alone – you are definitely in PvE. In both cases, you will have to fight, but the local dangers are not as scary as those of live gamers.
The game is fighting cheats and cheating, and you can help with that:
All players’ Worlds are shared, so you can run into other characters while exploring locations. Each server is divided into ten separate Worlds.
Players can move freely between Worlds and switch between them if they want to, which is helpful if you’re not happy with the available land for bases in your current world or if you’re going to play with friends in a different World.
How to Switch Between Worlds in Once Human?
Teleportation Tower on the map
To change Worlds, first, you need to unlock the Teleportation Tower. During the main missions, you will be directed to Deadsville.
Here, a crucial mission will involve fighting a level 5 siren. Completing this mission grants you access to a Teleportation Tower. The Teleportation Tower is the key to navigating between Worlds on your chosen server.
To move to another World in Once Human, approach the Teleportation Tower – the towers you discover during the game appear on the map with a radio tower icon – and press the G key. You will then see a list of nine other Worlds on the server of your choice.
Please select it and hold the F key to switch to a specific World.
World List
Teleportation Towers are scattered throughout the Once Human map, and you will surely come across plenty of them while exploring. Note that you will always find a Teleportation Tower near monoliths.
It’s important to know that while you retain your character’s inventory and equipped items when moving Worlds, your base in an area will not come with you by default. If you want to move the game to the new World you are playing in, you must move the territory.
Common Problems in Changing Worlds
Sometimes, players may encounter problems when trying to change the World. Here are some common issues and their solutions:
First, ensure you have completed the required mission in Deadsville and opened the teleporter. You’ll have to play in that World more if you still need to.
World Selection Error
Ensure the World you are trying to access is on your current server. As a reminder, you have yet to switch between servers.
Connection Problems
If you experience delays or dropped connections, check your Internet connection. You may have to restart the game.
Summary
The developers of Once Human are constantly working on updates and improvements. Inter-server travel, improved teleport interfaces, and additional teleport points may await us.
