Riot Games presented a trailer for the new Agent – Clove from Scotland. Do not fall for the young appearance because Clove has the gift of immortality and uses abilities related to death.
The developers wanted to create a character that would simultaneously organically combine serious and mischievous features, and they succeeded.
The abilities of the new Agent Controller could change the competitive first-person shooter meta, potentially changing the composition of Agents in the competitive and professional game.

The Abilities Of The New Agent Clove
Like any other Valorant Agent, Clove has three basic abilities and an absolute skill.
Ruse (E): Clove’s mind projects a view of the battlefield from above. Using its essence, the Agent creates clouds that obscure the vision.
EQUIP to view the battlefield. FIRE will set the locations where Clove’s clouds (smoke) will settle. ALT FIRE to confirm, launching clouds that block vision in selected areas. Clove can use this ability after death.
Exercise extreme caution. Since Clove’s smoke radius is limited to where she died, you can’t just stick to the confirmed bottlenecks. You will have to take some risks.
Meddle (Q): Clove casts a fragment of Essence of Immortality, which, once cast, impairs the life essence of those affected by the blast. EQUIP the fragment of the essence of immortality. FIRE to throw the fragment. It’s a simple ability, but who says it’s terrible?
Pick-Me-Up (C): Instantly absorbs the life force of an opponent defeated or killed by Clove, who gains haste and temporary health. The power of this ability is that Clove fights in battles that the controller would only sometimes participate in.
Not Dead Yet (X): This Ultimatum ability is the most awesome of any game! Clove activates his essence of immortality and is resurrected. Once resurrected, Clove must kill or deal damage within a set time, or she will die.
The developers mentioned: “Many of our players feel that they have to play too passive in this role compared to our other roles, so they abandon the entire class.” And that’s for damn sure true. Clove is a great Agent for diversifying the controller class.
Summary
Agent’s gameplay designer said that Clove’s optimal gameplay is about playing with fire, where players must take risks and trade.
We must mention that the Primordium collection was recently introduced. This is a line of skins inspired by ancient creatures of lava and fire.
