Former R6 player and coach Gabriel âLaXinGâ Mirelez announced recently (July 18) via Twitter that React Gaming Group (RGG) currently owes âroughly $13kâ, according to the player. Itâs important to note that React Gaming Group is the parent company of Parabellum, an organization that apparently shut down within the last few months.
Parabellum was a Canadian organization with R6 male and female rosters and a Brazilian Rocket League squad. All the rosters seem to be currently disbanded.
Chris Lamarucciola, ex Parabellum CEO stepped down from that position in May, at the time he revealed: âIf pB does return, I have informed RGG that I will be available to support the transition, whatever it will look like.â
In the Tweet, LaXinG says React informed him on July 13: âWe have the money and can payout all debts. But the only way Iâm paying you is if you get back a player, and we stay in Siege.â
Chris responded to the Tweet, saying: âI have offered to reacquire the brand and assume debts, but it has been ignored. I have also not been paid since Feb 28th, 2023 (March and April) Iâve been silenced to date on what else I can share.â
âNoobsie,â former Parabellum Rocket League General Manager, confirmed that the organization owes their Rocket League roster payments.
Parabellum has an undefined future in R6, sources tell BLIX.GG. At the moment, there is a lack of tier 1 teams in NA, and multiple organizations have an unknown future in the game. The second stage of the North America League is set to start in September, with several questions left to answer on the table.
