American-based esports organization TSM is ready to suspend its Legends Championship Series franchise as well as pausing participation in some other esports disciplines, reported Sports Business Journal reported citing its own sources.
According to the outlet, the main reason is the collapse of the FTX crypto service, with which TSM had a 10-year partnership. The sponsor contract with crypto-entrepreneurs was supposed to bring $ 210 million for TSM in a decade.
TSM has already left the Rainbow Six Siege competitive scene, disbanding their R6 team in February this year. However, the organization was still competing in League of Legends, Valorant, Apex Legends, Dota 2, CS:GO and many other esports titles.
SBJ’s sources also say that TSM will focus on its Blitz application, designed to assist gamers in enhancing their in-game abilities and tactics across various titles including League of Legends, Valorant and other games.
