The E-Sports Entertainment Association (ESEA) has announced Cash Cup Circuit as a new initiative to provide the NA CS:GO ecosystem. Participants will compete for a $60,000 prize pool, bootcamp in IEM Cologne and a direct slot to the IEM Fall Closed Qualifier.
“The Cash Cup Circuit will consist of eight tournaments, each offering $5,000 in the prize pool and points toward the Cash Cup Circuit leaderboard. After all eight Cash Cups are played, the top teams with the most points earned will advance to a play-off bracket where they will compete for $60,000, a direct slot to the IEM Fall Closed Qualifier and a bootcamp in IEM Cologne to learn from the top tier teams,” noted the ESEA statement.
Cash Cup Circuit schedule is:
- March 11th & 12th – Cash Cup #1
- March 17th & 18th – Cash Cup #2
- March 29th & 30th – Cash Cup #3
- April 15th & 16th – Cash Cup #4
- April 29th & 30th – Cash Cup #5
- May 6th & 7th – Cash Cup #6
- May 20th & 21st – Cash Cup #7
- May 31st & 1st – Cash Cup #8
The winner will get a fully paid travel, accommodation and bootcamp at IEM Cologne, and an opportunity to learn from the best teams.
“They will also be joined by a top-tier coach who will mentor the team, offer their experience and advice to help them take their team to the next level and be as ready as possible for their IEM Fall Closed Qualifier matches. On top of that they will also be our guests at IEM Cologne, including a backstage experience and a tour where they can see how everything works, meet top pros and enjoy the best seats in the house,” ESEA noted.
