    Match Overview

The first quarter-final match of BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 will see MOUZ face off against G2. Both teams have something to prove. For MOUZ, it’s a chance to make three Grand Final appearances in a row, and for G2, making the Grand Finals would already be a good result after all the struggles they went through. These two teams met each other recently at ESL Pro League Season 21, and MOUZ won with a score of 2-1.

MOUZ vs. G2 – ESL Pro League Season 21

    Current Team and Players Form

    MOUZ

They played against the two best teams in the world, Spirit and Vitality, at this tournament, already in a group stage, and they won against Spirit. Even though they lost to Vitality with a score of 0-2, both matches were close with the same score of 11-13. It shows that MOUZ is currently in good form, and ‘Brollan’ is doing a good job as their new in-game leader. ‘torszi’ is consistent throughout a series of tournaments already, and ‘Jimpphat’ is doing better against the best teams. ‘Spinx’ and ‘xertioN’ are in good form to do their job.

    G2

They haven’t won any matches against top teams for some time, and this is another chance for them to do so. ‘m0NESY’ is good as always and consistent with his insane AWP skills, and ‘HeavyGod’ is doing great as their new rifler. ‘huNter-’ and ‘malbsMd’ both will need to show their consistency to make it further in the playoff stage.

malbsMd is ready to do his best

After a really rough time I finally felt like I did something for the team, wanna apologize to everyone rooting for us for my shit performance, as I’ve said before, I know about my performance and I’m trying my best to change this and come back both mentally and in server.
    But…

    Match Prediction

MOUZ is a better team here, and all the results prove that. They’re more consistent, and they just made two Grand Finals in a row, while G2 didn’t even make it past the quarter-finals in their recent tournaments. We expect MOUZ to win this match.

Can G2 surprise and win against MOUZ here in the quarter-finals, or will it be MOUZ to show us that they’re hungry for another Grand Final? We will have to see it this Friday at 16:30 CET!
