Astralis vs BetBoom – Semi-final Prediction – FISSURE Playground 1

The second semi-final of FISSURE Playground will be Astralis to face off against BetBoom. Astralis is trying their best to make it back to the top, and BetBoom has experienced players in their team, including Major Champion ‘Boombl4’, who is trying his best with his new team. These two teams met each other at IEM Dallas 2025 Closed Qualifiers, and Astralis won with a score of 2-1, and now BetBoom have all the chances to take their revenge when it matters the most.

Astralis vs. BetBoom – Closed Qualifiers – IEM Dallas 2025

    Current Team and Players Form

    Astralis

So far, it seems like ‘HooXi’ being in the role of an in-game leader makes this team work better than it did back with ‘cadiaN’. ‘Jabbi’ finally started to put his good amount of frags and make an insane impact, and also for ‘staehr’ it seems to be working much better. ‘device’ stays consistent most of the time, and he is known for being a consistent player, while him being the most experienced player on this team. They’re in good shape, but they’re yet to be tested by the better teams.

    BetBoom

It’s their first tournament after they recently changed their sniper ‘zorte’ for ‘ArtFr0st’, and this change seems to be working pretty well so far. ‘ArtFr0st’ was the top fragger for his team in their match against GamerLegion and BIG, and he was one frag behind from being a top fragger in their match against HEROIC. The experience of ‘Boombl4’ and ‘Ax1Le’, who had played together before, also makes this team dangerous for anyone to play against. They’re also in great shape, and with young players like ‘Magnojez’ and ‘S1ren’, this team might work out and make it to the top 10 if they keep it consistent.

    Match Prediction

It is hard to predict a winner here, but we might find a better choice. As both teams seem to have a weak spot in their map pool, it seems better to predict the total number of maps to be played in this match, especially since their last match against each other ended up with a 2-1 score, which confirms our point. We expect this match to go all three maps, so it is expected to end up with a Total of Over 2.5.

Can Boombl4 lead his new team to the Grand Final by taking revenge on Astralis, or will it be Astralis to dominate again and make it to the Grand Finals? We will have to see it this Saturday at 18:00 CET!
