The Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 was one of the first interesting Dota 2 tournaments of 2026 and it ended yesterday. The competition took place in New Delhi and featured a $100,000 reward. As expected, we saw several big names, but in the end, Myth Avenue Gaming defended its title.
Myth Avenue Gaming Lifted the Trophy
The Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 featured a total of 11 teams, but, as expected, some were in a much better situation to win. In the end, Myth Avenue Gaming lifted the trophy again.
The team started its journey against Veroja in the UB Round 1, followed by a victory against Asteriks in the Quarterfinals. This allowed it to play against ZEZE in the Semifinals before meeting REKONIX in the UB Final. Keep in mind that all matches prior to this one were in a Bo1 format.
Speaking of REKONIX, this was one of the three favorites alongside the team we mentioned above and InteraActive Philippines. In fact, these two collided in the LB Final, but REKONIX was better and eliminated their Filipino opponents.
The Grand Final was a rematch between Myth Avenue Gaming and REKONIX and we saw the same exact thing as in the UB Final. MAG won the match after securing two victories and lifted the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 again. This also happened in 2025.
What’s next for Myth Avenue Gaming?
To be honest, we don’t know what is going to happen with the team. People had expectations from the last after winning the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 last year, but it was unable to live up to the expectations. In fact, the squad remained in the Tier 2 and 3 scene and has been here for a while. We hope that things will change and will keep an eye on it in the future
