Gaimin Gladiators could be set for a return to Dota 2 with a new South American roster, following recent social media activity that sparked speculation about the organization’s comeback. The Dota 2 powerhouse, which dropped its previous lineup after internal conflicts, is now rumored to be rebuilding around a full SA squad.
Gaimin Gladiators Hint at Dota 2 Comeback on Social Media
While nothing has been confirmed yet, Gaimin Gladiators made an interesting post on X in Spanish. We’ll admit, our Spanish is not the best, but after translating it, it became clear that it is something along the lines of making an announcement soon. This was when rumours started circulating online about the roster’s supposed return.
Every Dota 2 fan probably remembers the team’s previous roster. It featured some of the best names in their respective roles and the squad dominated everyone in 2023 and in some events in 2024. However, due to the conflicts, it had to disband its roster.
South American Roster Rumors: Who Could Join Gaimin Gladiators
We do not have any official information about the new players who will become a part of the European powerhouse. Nevertheless, there are rumours about the following names:
- David “Parker” Nicho Flores
- Gonzalo “DarkMago” Herrera
- Frank “Frank” Ayala
- Elvis “Scotfield” Pena
- Yelsthin ‘Elmisho” Hurtado
In case you haven’t noticed, the new roster is supposedly Peru Reject’s current squad. The team recently gained recognition after winning the Dreamleague Season 28 South American qualifiers by defeating HEROIC. It’s also worth noting that Parker and Scotfield are well-known names in the professional scene and even PGL Wallachia Season 2 while they were a part of HEROIC.
We at Blix.gg will definitely keep an eye on everything and let you know if GG decides to come back to Dota 2.
