DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3 is one of the first notable Tier 2 Dota 2 tournaments of 2026, running from February 4 to 12 and offering a $50,000 prize pool. Featuring eight competitive teams, the event serves as a direct qualifier for DreamLeague Season 28, making it far more important than a standard online tournament.

With well-known organizations in the mix and a DreamLeague spot on the line, Division 2 Season 3 is set to deliver high-pressure matches from day one.

What Is DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3 and Why It Matters in 2026

The DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3 is part of the DreamLeague and ESL Pro Tour series and is a Tier 2 Dota 2 tournament. Unlike its “big brother”, this tournament will have fewer teams and a much smaller prize pool. Moreover, it will take place online.

DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3 will take place between February 4 and 12, and it will feature a $50,000 prize pool. While the prize pool itself is not that impressive, the winner will also get the chance to play at DreamLeague Season 28. The latter will be a $1,000,000 event, which begins just a few days after this event concludes.

Despite the fact that this is a Tier 2 tournament, DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3 will give us access to a lot of well-known Dota 2 teams. Here is the complete list:

    • Virtus.Pro
    • Aurora Gaming
    • Team Silk
    • 1w Team
    • Inner Circle
    • AVULUS
    • Nigma Galaxy
    • Zero Tenacity

Which Teams Are Favorites to Qualify for DreamLeague Season 28?

We can immediately notice that AVULUS, Aurora Gaming, and Nigma Galaxy are one step above the rest. When you also add Virtus.Pro to the picture, we can expect a highly competitive tournament. Every single one of these teams has what’s needed for the event, so it will be interesting to see which one will grab the big prize.

Nigma Galaxy and AVULUS seem to be in the best position, but it really depends on their lineups. There is a lot at stake, so we are sure that all teams will give their best. Stay tuned for updates and match coverage.
