Yuqilin Pinnacle of Battle Season 3 was a tournament that took place in Shanghai and included some of the best CS2 teams in China. It was definitely one of the CS2 tournaments that deserved more attention, and in the end, Lynn Vision won the match. Let’s take a look at what happened.
Lynn Vision Defeated TYLOO in the Grand Final
It’s safe to say that the Grand Final was not what we actually expected. Most fans were hoping to see an epic battle, but TYLOO decided to forfeit the best-of-five final only after a few rounds since the match started. It’s worth noting that this was TYLOO’s third series of the day and it seems like it was too much for them.
Prior to the match, TYLOO defeated Chinggis Warriors and FlyQuest. This allowed the team to win the XSE GangKui Cup Season 2 Finals. The tournament also took place in Shanghai at the same time.
Shortly after the match started, Weijie “zhokiNg” Zhong had to stand in for Yi “JamYoung” Yang because the latter was not feeling well. Just when we thought it could not get worse, TYLOO also had to part ways with Qinhao “Moseyuh” Chen. He was also not feeling well and the medical team had to step in and carry him out of the match.
Needless to say, all of these things were too much for TYLOO, the handle and the team decided to forfeit the final. In an official statement, the team said that it “will continue to monitor the players’ recovery and provide full support…”
Lynn Visions Seems to be Lucky
Aside from essentially getting a free win, Lynn Visions actually wins in this way for the third time in a row in this event alone. The squad got a free victory against Rare Atom.
In terms of the current situation of Asian teams, the MongolZ remains the best in this part of the world. TYLOO is close behind, followed by Lynn Vision, THUNDER dOWNUNDER and FlyQuest. We should see all of them at the iEM Cologne Major, but as of now, it seems like The MongolZ will be the only team that does not have to attend the first stage.
