After the team failed to secure the success it needed, BC. Game decided it’s time to make some changes. The squad announced that it will bench Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes and Antonio “aragornN” Barbosa.
MUTiRiS and aragornN Part Ways with BC.Game
The two players spent around four months with the team, but they were unable to help it achieve any success. After qualifying for the PGL Bucharest, the squad had high expectations, but things did not work well. BC.Game had to exit the tournament soon after it started, as it only won one series against Boca.
Following the disappointing performance, BC.Game’s CEO said that the two players have been moved to the active roster. This was also revealed in a tweet shortly after. The squad has been struggling to achieve meaningful results for a while now and it seems like it will try making another roster change.
Speaking of results, BC.Game has had some luck during the IEM Krakow after it successfully passed Stage 1. Sadly, this was the only good thing that happened because the team has been struggling ever since. BC.Game failed to impress at several smaller LAN events and even stopped competing at the ROG Journey Spring.
Despite the extended break, BC. Game had no signs of improvement as the team crumbled at the PGL Bucharest. This was the last nail in the coffin for the organization and it will try to rebuild its roster.
What’s Next for BC.Game?
The CS2 team will have just a few weeks to rebuild its roster and bring in new players. We will see the team playing at IEM Atlanta on May 11, and after that, it will be in China for the CS Asia Championship. We at Blix.gg will keep a close aye on the team to see which players will join. For now, the squad’s roster looks like this:
- OIeksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev
- Denis “electroNic” Sharipov
- Adones “krazy” Nobre
